Hargreaves home design revealed

We now have our Hampton Village home design nearly completed. We will be building this home at 703 Hargreaves Crescent.

Our goal for this house design was to take advantage of the park views out front and to design an exterior that was unique and modern but still fit in well with the neighbourhood.

As you can see from the exterior rendering, we have set the garage nearly flush with the home so that it does not dominate the front of the home. We then added some wood accents to the front entrance and garage area. A simple garage door and roof were also incorporated into the design to minimize the attention to these areas.

We have designed this house as a raised bungalow. As a result you will notice that there are more steps on the exterior. The benefits of the raised bungalow are that you get large basement windows (like you would in a bi-level) but you don’t have to contend with stairs as soon as you walk into the home.

To take advantage of the park views we incorporated an abundance of windows at the front and side of the home. (See 3D renderings below). These windows go to 8 feet in height and will also allow for a lot of light to enter the home due to the Southern exposure.

The kitchen design is still in the works as of right now but it will include 2 islands, a pantry, plenty of windows/light in the dining area, and a very open concept. There is also direct access to the kitchen from the garage entrance / mudroom which is a great feature when bringing in groceries or other items!

Overall the design and interior finishing will have a modern feel with clean lines and an open concept. Although the 3D renderings show the overall layout of the home, the actual finishing items, focal points, materials, etc are not shown in the rendering.

Pricing for this home is still in the works. Feel free to contact us for more information!
