Prior to meeting with the staff at Lexis my wife and I were leery of building a house. Fell in love with the unique design …
We are the second owners of a Lexis property and purchased our home from a private vendor. We wanted to stay in our neighbourhood where we had been living in an older character home for decades. We were now looking for a newer build with less maintenance concerns but still wanted something unique in architectural and interior design. We fell in love with the unique design of the Lexis duplex. For example, the placement of the frameless piano windows throughout the duplex (even in our master walk in closet) maximizes the limited view and natural lighting found in our dense urban setting and is something we thought we would miss moving from a larger property. After we moved in we noticed a few things that were overlooked by the first home owners that should have been brought to Lexis' attention before they sold to us. During the spring we started exploring the growing neighborhoods of Saskatoon and searching the internet for ideas and inspiration. We had created a very specific plan for the home we hoped to build. A year later and of course we have had some small warranty issues. Lexis has responded very quickly to the problems that have come up and have been back to our house far beyond the 1 year mark to aid with some other small issues that have come up. They know what they are doing and are more interested in completing the house on time within budget than trying to find ways to charge the home owner more money. We have been in our Lexis home for almost a year now and we absolutely love our space. We are a family of 5 plus a puppy and we have lived in a number of cities and houses. We have had the small starter home all the way to the 5,000sq ft home. Our favourite one to date is the one we are currently in. The lay out is spacious and open with tons of space to entertain. We love the oversized island and it is where we share most of our meals. The bedrooms are a great size and all 3 bathrooms have good space. That is important because we have 3 girls;). Our interactions with Lexis has been awesome right from our initial contact. They have been easy to work with and always available if we have questions. If we had any work that needed to be done, they were quick and professional. We love our home and look forward to growing with it. We aren't planning on another move, but if our needs changed and we needed to, we would absolutely have Lexis build our next home. We had Lexis build our beautiful custom acreage home. We had no experience with having a house built. Lexis took what seemed like a possibly daunting, scary thing and made the entire process streamlined and easy to understand. The online software they used provided a great understanding of how things were going to flow as our home was built. Everything was very well laid out, very transparent, and watching our home come together was a really fun experience! I always felt like they listened well, and took any concerns we had seriously. There was superb communication between all people involved. The entire team was really friendly and approachable. We really could not have asked for a better experience! They have a commitment to great service and amazing quality and it truly shows. We never hesitate to recommend them to people!

I found lexis home through raving reviews on google, reddit, facebook. Met with Cam at their show home to discuss how the process worked. This was my first time building a house. Cam walked me through everything step by step. Gave me a quote on what I wanted. Everything was super organized and cam, chris, courtney was ontop of everything. When you ask for a custom home. They give you a custom built home. I got to pick out every design aspect of my house. There was no limit like other builders. They designed and put in a beautiful walk-in closet as I requested! I love the builder trend app lexis home uses, where you can confirm and see all the changes. The floorplans, items you picked out, leave comments on selections, etc. Previously I almost worked with a very sketchy home builder who wrote everything on looseleaf paper. (Crazy right!?) Overall very happy with my home! The quality and craftsmanship throughout my house shows through. Would definitely build another home with lexis again in the near future. Recommended them to my friends and family.

They took our vision and made it come to life while working within our budget. Fearing so much decision making, Lexis helped pair down selections for us to ensure each choice/finish fit our desired style. The partner vendors we met with also gave us top notch service and advice! We took possession of our home in April 2020 at the height of the Covid pandemic. We couldn't celebrate with Lexis in a traditional housewarming fashion but they certainly provided us the best "gift" in the home that we plan to love for years to come. Lexis delivered a high quality product, on budget and on time ..and most importantly they handed over keys to a beautiful home at a time when we needed comfort the most!
Donald Horner2023-11-09We retired in 2021 and decided to move from Weyburn to Saskatoon, where our two daughters and their families were living. We had lived in a beautiful century home in Weyburn for over 20 years but decided that we wanted to design and build a brand new home for our retirement. Our daughter Susan and her husband Ryan had gone through the design/ build process with the Lexis team and we were very impressed with the beauty and quality of their home. They had had a great experience with Lexis so recommended that we talk to Cam and his team. And so we embarked on our journey with Lexis. Our designer was Julie and she was fantastic right from the get-go. We explained that we wanted a home in a mature area where we could comfortably retire and have lots of room for gatherings of family and friends. She listened carefully to our ideas and always came through with great design concepts for us to consider. We ended up with a unique design that gives us high ceilings and lots of natural light throughout; a main floor with principal/ master suite for us, a huge modern open concept kitchen, dining and living room area, a music room and a laundry room; a 2nd floor with guest bedrooms, a full bathroom and sitting area; and a basement with a spacious recreational area, a full bathroom, 2 extra bedrooms and a generous utility and storage room. We also have an attached 2 car garage with room for a workbench and an auto lift to store our parade duty 1958 Ford Ranch Wagon. We were very pleased from design to completion with the costing process that was managed by Cam. There were never any surprises. We knew at all times what the cost of our home was going to be. Chris did a superb job of managing the many trades and contractors involved in the construction process. Lexis uses only the best. Chris ensured that every detail was completed to our satisfaction - even if he had to get out his tools and make it right himself! As far as timing, we commenced design in the summer of 2021, construction started in the winter of 2022 and we took possession in October of that year. We have lived in our new home for just over a year now and it has been a delight - no issues to deal with. In short, the design and superb quality of our new home is everything we could have hoped for. We can honestly say that if you are considering going the design/ build process for your new home we would recommend Lexis without reservation. Diane and Don Horner
