There’s a definite west-coast vibe in the latest show home by Lexis Homes. Located in The Meadows at 251 Greyeyes-Steele Way, this brand new floor plan from Lexis is called The Lark.
With hickory finishes and pops of navy blue and green decor, the family-friendly home is definitely channelling a relaxed chic vibe.
The home is a 1,991 square-foot, two-storey Holmes-Approved home. The home is designed to fit on a narrower city lot and maximize the available space. “We’ve jam-packed a lot in here,” says Liz Carswell from Lexis. The result is a home that is perfect for a busy, modern family that “ticks all the boxes.”
When visitors enter the home, they will be greeted by a feature wall with hickory wood panelling and alcoves to show off artwork for framed photos. The hickory picks up tones of grey while still feeling natural and welcoming.
Last weekend was the first opportunity for the public to see The Lark and Carswell said the feedback was very positive.

Coming home to the Lark would be a joy with a mud room that boasts tons of customized built-in lockers and organization helpers. It feeds right into the walk-through Butler’s pantry with more built-ins and storage. The built-in microwave is also located in the pantry to give more space to cabinetry. The pantry also boasts a window to keep the space bright and beautiful.
The main living area is open with a contemporary fireplace and sculptural mantle. Tons of natural light flood into the space from the oversized windows.
Upstairs, there are three bedrooms and bonus for the family to enjoy. The master bedroom is spacious and bright. Of course, the ensuite is like a spa hotel with a gorgeous stone detailed shower with glass door. There’s the dual sink vanity and a makeup table, so getting ready in the morning will be a breeze.
The west-coast inspiration even extends to the exterior with architectural details in a mix of hardie-board, stone and cedar wood. The result is appealing right from the curb. The show home also backs onto walking paths, a park and a playground, ensuring privacy and easy green space access.

Lexis has also become known for their Holmes-Approved homes. The particular home has been inspected and certified Holmes-Approved. Energy upgrades include R24 batt insulation in exterior walls, R60 in attic, R28 in basement walls, and R10 rigid Styrofoam insulation under basement slab, plus triple plane, low E argon windows.
The Saskatoon and Region Home Builders Association Parade of Homes is on until Sept. 16. Visit the Lexis show home at 251 Greyeyes-Steele Way. The show home is open Monday to Friday from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., and Saturday, Sunday and holidays from noon to 5 p.m.
